What would you do if a solar flare caused the world to go dark?
Would you be ready?
Would you survive?
In the midst of all of the recent disasters – Hurricanes, Floods, Fires – there has been another weather alert that you might not have heard of…. Space Weather. There are Space Weather warnings, just like there are Flood warnings, Tornado Warnings, and Hurricane warnings. And these last couple of weeks we have had Space Weather warnings with massive Solar Storms. One of the highest recorded solar flares ever – an X10 coronal mass ejection (CME) solar flare – happened on Sept. 7, 2017.
You might know what you would do if there was a tornado warning. What about a Solar Flare? How would you survive? You can find out what happens in Riley Sage’s new book Solar Flare X58. This intriguing, fast-paced post-apocalyptic EMP dystopian fiction novel follows NASA Astrophysicist Astronaut Dr. John Thompson his girlfriend Mary, and their extended family and friends, as they struggle to survive the first few days after the Solar Flare.
Solar Flare X58 is the first book in the Solar Flare Dystopian Post-Apocalyptic EMP Survival Science Fiction series. You can get it here.
I don’t know about you, but to me, the last few weeks have been a bit overwhelming with all the news about disasters. Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Fires in California, Idaho, Montana, Washington. And fires in Canada in British Columbia Nova Scotia. Not to mention the fires in Greece, Brazil, Portugal, Algeria, Tunisia, Greenland, The Sakha Republic of Russia and Siberia. Then in India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, they experienced record monsoons and massive death toll. Sierra Leone and Niger experienced massive floods, mudslides, and deaths in the thousands.
You probably don’t want to hear about more…
But Space Weather can be serious. Solar flares are sometimes as much as 20 times bigger than the entire planet earth!
This picture was posted by NASA September 14, as there was another large solar flare, with subsequent coronal mass ejection (CME) on September 10, 2017.

Photo Explanation from NASA: Almost out of view from our fair planet, rotating around the Sun’s western edge giant active region AR2673 lashed out with another intense solar flare followed by a large coronal mass ejection on September 10. The flare itself is seen here at the right in an extreme ultraviolet image from the sun-staring Solar Dynamics Observatory. This intense flare was the fourth X-class flare from AR2673 this month. The active region’s most recent associated coronal mass ejection collided with Earth’s magnetosphere 2 days later.
Again, you might know what you would do if there was a tornado or a hurricane warning. What about a Solar Flare? How would you survive? Find out what happens to NASA Astrophysicist Astronaut Dr. John Thompson his girlfriend Mary, and their extended family and friends, as they struggle to survive the first few days after the Solar Flare.
Will they survive?
They must. Their freedom, their lives, their country, and the survival of the space colonies hang in the balance.
Would you survive?
You must! Get the book and see how others weathered the solar storms.
