I have spent much of this summer once again looking at the Vision that I have for my life, and asking God what it is that HE wants from me.<\/p>\n

What God wants from me, is me.<\/p>\n

Plain and simple.<\/p>\n

He wants me to love Him.<\/p>\n

We know we are to obey the commandments of God. So, like the man in the Bible, when we ask about what we should do, we\u00a0<\/span>should ask God, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Greatest Commandment\u00a0–\u00a0Mark 12:28-31 (NIV)<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n<\/span>28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, \u201cOf all the commandments, which is the most important?\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>29 \u201cThe most important one,\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/em>answered Jesus, \u201cis this:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u2018Hear, O Israel:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The Lord our God,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the Lord is one.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

30 Love the Lord your God<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>with all your heart and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>with all your soul and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>with all your mind and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>with all your strength.\u2019<\/span><\/strong>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>31 The second is this: \u2018Love your neighbor as yourself.\u2019<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>There is no commandment greater than these.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Think about that for a moment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If we were only able to obey ONE commandment from God, what would He want us to obey?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Love the Lord your God<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>with ALL\u00a0your heart and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>with ALL<\/span>\u00a0your soul and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>with ALL<\/span>\u00a0your mind and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>with ALL<\/span>\u00a0your strength.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why do we waste our time doing less?<\/span><\/p>\n

I challenge you to join me in spending the rest of this summer focusing on loving God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.<\/p>\n

In every action, and every decision, ask yourself, “Is this the best way for me to love God?”<\/p>\n

Everything I want most is found in the heart of God.<\/p>\n

Why do I ever look for it anywhere else?<\/p>\n
