“How to Write Your Nonfiction Book” Seminar

The Destiny Center Institute's “How to Write Your Nonfiction Book” Seminar will give you the knowledge and tools you need to start and finish your nonfiction book manuscript. It is a one-hour college credit course.*

The seminar will enable you to write the nonfiction book you have been dreaming of writing.

Course Format

This is an online seminar. The teaching includes written material, audio, and video lecture classes. Homework assignments will be a minimum of 24 hours of work on your book project. The online class can be taken when you have time. There are four phases in the book writing process and each phase will include a teaching session that will then have associated homework. After the homework is completed for each phase, you will then be able to go on to the next phase of the process. There will be many tools - worksheets and forms - for you to utilize to get you started on your book and to complete your manuscript.

Students will:

Understand how to get clarity on the purpose and plan for their book.
Understand the needed elements to design and write their draft book cover.
Learn how to use a book template.
Learn how to Mind-map Book Content.
Learn how to execute their project plan to finish writing their book.
Learn to manage their own project plan for writing their book.
Learn how to stay on schedule.
Understand the need for accountability.
Understand the Self-Editing processes.

Tuition is $1404 for the 3 college unit credit course.

* Class is approved through the University of the Nations e-learning department. If you are a current UofN student and are wanting to get credit for any of our schools through the University of the Nations towards one of their degrees, there are additional application requirements. Please email us for additional information. College unit credit is offered through our partnership with YWAM Hollywood and the University of the Nations.
